Jilly Newgreen, founder of The Art of Breath, is all about connection and empowerment. She works with your inner resource tools - breath, body and mind - to bring about calm, balance, connection and empowerment. Her intention is to bring the benefits of these practices off the mat and into everyday life, transforming obstacles into stepping stones.


Jilly is a qualified trauma informed pranayama practitioner who has practiced yoga and meditation for over 20 years and now builds her life around empowering others to empower themselves through pranayama (breath). She is also a qualified trauma informed yin yoga and yoga nidra practitioner.


Jilly created The Art of Breath with the intention of providing specialised support to all individuals including those experiencing overwhelm, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD and anyone who is interested in improving their overall wellbeing. Through The Art of Breath, Jilly offers transformational classes, workshops and programs. She works with individuals in personalised one-on-one sessions, groups, workshops and retreats.


Pranayama (also known as conscious breathing or breathwork) is for EVERYBODY. You don't need to know or practice yoga and you don't even need activewear. In fact, you are encouraged to wear comfortable and loose inactive wear to practice. No matter your fitness level, height, weight, age, gender, race or range of mobility, you can join any of the pranayama/breathwork sessions with The Art of Breath. The Art of Breath offers gentle techniques that are suitable and safe for EVERYBODY.
